there are more than 120,000 persons..." Jonah (God speaking to Jonah)
How much more, it would seem, is God's compassion for Tokyo with 100 times the population of Nineveh, or Metro Tokyo with 300 times the population of Nineveh (35 million). God is using this merciful logic to soften Jonah's heart with compassion for lost Nineveh. May our hearts be broken by this Godly logic for "the great city" of Tokyo that is in such need of the gospel. Almost all have never heard. And for that matter, for all of Japan, 2d largest UPG in the world (unreached people group), literally 1000 times the size of Nineveh, yet so few have ever heard."
